You know Bloodborne's going to be creepy, great looking, and aimed at the hardest of the hardcore. This action-RPG is from the people who brought you Dark Souls and Demon's Souls. Bloodborne drops you in the middle of Yharnam, a terrible city where disease has changed the residents. Mobs of vicious crazies and evil monsters walk the earth in search of victims. To fight off your many, many enemies, you'll use an arsenal that includes guns and saw cleavers - but your most important weapon is your mind. Bloodborne's strategic action combat demands quick thinking and on-the-fly strategy. The game's network of randomly generated dungeons is playable both solo and co-op, and those dark caverns are overflowing with monsters, traps, and epic loot.
Features:
- Offensive Parry: Bloodborne encourages characters to say on the offensive, using an equipped firearm as a staggering tool. By unloading a shot right before the enemy's attack lands, the tables are instantly turned, leaving them staggered and open to a devastating Visceral Attack.
- Weapons: Bloodborne's vast variety of intricately-detailed transforming melee weapons, supported by a selection of close- and medium-range firearms, gives players a wide range of choices for range, speed and brute force attacks.
- Messengers: These small creatures have crept out of a nightmare, and while they may not look too friendly, they accompany hunters, follow their orders, and take care of messages left for others.
- Co-Op Battles: Some of the dangers lurking within Yharnam are better faced with another Hunter or two by your side, but even then, victory is not guaranteed.
- Chalice Dungeons: Procedurally-generated to create a new, harrowing experience every time you enter, Chalice Dungeons offer a chance to experience Bloodborne's sense of exploration, danger and reward in all new ways. Play alone or with other Hunters, and share your creations with friends or the world.
