Evolve is an online, class-based asymmetrical shooter that pits four hunters against a constantly evolving, player-controlled monster in a battle to the death. As you'd expect, the hunters are weak compared to the monster, but they can make up for it by working together. You can heal your teammates as a medic, outsmart the monster as a trapper, or deal damage with the assault and support classes. The hunters must cooperate to have any chance against their enemy - these monsters are no pushovers. There are various giant creatures to choose from, like the Kraken or Goliath. They evolve in different ways by going into vulnerable cocoon states and emerging with awesome new powers like lightning strikes or fire breath.
